Grade 5 Farewell Celebration Information – Tuesday, June 23rd
Schedule for June 23rd
- Regular start to the day
- 10:30am – Grade 5 Recognition Assembly in the gym (doors open at 10:15 am for families- Please limit guests to 2-3 per family as our whole school is also attending)
- 12:00 pm – Grade 5 Fun Lunch in the gym for the Grade 5s (students bring their own)
- 12:30 – 2:30 – Grade 5 Splash, Dash and Crash on the front field
Recognition Assembly
- The assembly will recognize the Grade 5s both as individuals and as a group with speeches, the crossing of the bridge and Grade 5 Slideshows.
- Attire for the assembly is summer casual – no need to rush out and buy new clothes – think Picture Day but in June.
- Family members are invited to attend the assembly. There will also be an opportunity for families to take pictures following the assembly.
Grade 5 Fun Lunch
- Students are asked to bring their own Fun Lunch. The lunch can be whatever each family decides to send for their child. The school will provide cupcakes for all students.
Grade 5 Splash, Dash and Crash
- We have teamed up with the Strawberry Vale PAC and Backyard Bounce to bring the inflatables for the Grade 5s to enjoy for the afternoon.
- The students will spend the afternoon playing on a giant Waterslide and obstacle course.
- Students will need to bring a bathing suit/change of clothes and sunscreen for the afternoon.
