A meeting will be held at first recess on Monday, March 11 for all grade 3 – 5 students interested in Rugby. A “get acquainted” practice will be held after school on Tuesday, March 12 from 2:45 – 3:45 and again on Thursday, March 14 from 2:45 – 3:45. Practices will be lead by Mr. Martin, Sam Yager (parent), and James Whyte (parent). If you have rugby experience and are interested in helping, reach out to Mr. Martin directly at mamartin@sd61.bc.ca.

PLEASE NOTE: Rugby is a contact sport with rucks, mauls, and tackles. Students will need a mouth guard to participate in any contact portions of practice and games. Rugby and Soccer cleats allowed, no baseball or metal spiked cleats permitted.

Permission forms to go home beginning Monday.

The rugby jamboree will be held on Friday, May 10 and typically, Strawberry Vale enters at least one team each year.
