DECK THE PALMS
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8TH
Our tropical themed winter concert, Deck the Palms is fast approaching! There will be two performances:
Afternoon Performance: Thursday, December 8th at 1:15pm
Evening Performance: Thursday, December 8th at 6:30 pm
Aloha! Deck The Palms winter celebration is happening Thursday December 8, 2016. A matinee and evening performance will give all of our families ample opportunity to see their students perform in this wonderful celebration of music and culture. The information form about the concert, times, and ticketing will be coming home on Friday November 25th with every student (a copy is also attached to this E-Bulletin). This concert is set to brighten the dreary, wet winters we have with music from 5 different tropical locations: Hawaii, New Zealand, Brazil, Jamaica, and Haiti.
Mr. Martin is asking that students wear bright coloured shirts (no writing on shirts, please) or floral/tropical prints (the aloha style of clothing), khaki or lighter colour bottoms (shorts are ok), and good shoes or runners (sandals should not be worn). Accessories such as leis, shell leis, barrettes, headbands, etc. would be acceptable and encouraged for this event.
There will be an All School rehearsal on Wednesday December 7th but please note that concert clothing is not needed for that rehearsal.
