SUMMARY:Russell Book Fair
DESCRIPTION:On February 18th and 19th (Wednesday & Thursday)\, the Russell’s Book Fair will be open for business in the library! The fair will be open until 3:30 on the Wednesday\, and all day until 6pm on the Thursday during the Student-Led Conferences.    \nThe purpose of the Book Fair is\, primarily\, to promote reading. Russell’s selection of high-interest titles is geared towards students in grades K-5. The book fair is also a wonderful fundraiser. In supporting the Book Fair\, not only will you have the opportunity to add to your home or classroom library\, but you will also be supporting your school library. A portion of each purchase goes towards the purchase of new library books!

DESCRIPTION:Early dismissal for all students today at 11:50 am. \nStudent Led Conferences – We hope that you can attend and participate in your child(ren’s) Student Led Conference. Conferences are running from 1 – 6 in all classrooms\, and classroom teachers will let you know if they are using a drop-in or appointment time system. Student-led Conferences are an opportunity for your child to showcase their learning this year. It is a special time for you and your child\, and it is appreciated if younger siblings are not in attendance. Teachers will be present in the classrooms to support students\, as they lead you through the conference\, but are unable to provide a 1 on 1 conference. If you require a longer meeting\, please connect with your teacher to book a different time to meet.
