DESCRIPTION:Russell Books’ Fair \nStarting on Wednesday\, May 29th\, the Russell Books’ Fair will be open for business in the library! The fair will be open after school until 3:30 from May 29th-31st.  \nThe purpose of the Book Fair is\, primarily\, to promote reading. Russell’s selection of high-interest titles is geared towards students in grades K-5. The book fair is also a wonderful fundraiser. In supporting the Book Fair\, not only will you have the opportunity to add to your home or classroom library\, but you will also be supporting your school library. A portion of each purchase goes towards the purchase of new library books!

DESCRIPTION:The next PAC meeting\, which is also our AGM\, is taking place on Wednesday\, June 12th at 6:30pm in the SVE music room.  As we wind down another school year\, we are also gearing up to start planning for another exciting year with events like the Monster Ball\, Movie Nights\, and Fun Lunches.  Our AGM is the perfect opportunity to come and find out more about how these events are put together\, how you can help\, or share your opinions / ideas!  Volunteering for PAC driven events are great ways to experience and meet your school community but we need your help to get the planning underway.  If joining the PAC executive is something you have been wondering about\, the PAC is now taking nominations for the positions of President\, Vice President\, Treasurer\, and Secretary.  Nominations are now open and will close at the AGM.  Voting for the new PAC executive for the upcoming school year will also be done at the AGM.  We hope you will join us! \nEmail the PAC at pacsve@gmail.com for more details on executive positions\, fundraising opportunities and event planning.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to share that on Thursday\, September 12th from 5-6:30pm\, the PAC will be hosting our annual welcome back BBQ and meet the teacher night.  The event will take place at the front of the school by the basketball courts.  We will be serving hot dogs\, chips\, and juice boxes.  We ask that families bring their own water bottles.  This is also a time to meet your child(ren)’s teachers between 5-6pm.  This is a great way to meet other families within our school community\, especially if you are new to the school this year!  We hope to see you there!
